MM and KM Links Sept 2012 Week [5]

Yes, it is a five-week month and this is the final weekend. Both guessing games (MM Links and KM Links) are about to reach their monthly conclusion and honours will be bestowed on the most worthy players.


Anyone can play so why not try them out this weekend so you are prepared for the start of a fresh month in October?

All you have to do is guess what word has been paired with each of four declared words to make a new word or well-known phrase (but not a person's name).

The KM version of the game starts first. It is managed from Australia by our good friend Seekeerz. The KM links game based on the Daily Telegraph GK Crosswords and starts in Q & P early on Saturday morning. Play any time before midnight on Sunday.

The MM Game for September is set by one of our own. This month it is being set by 'King Fordward'. Look out in Q & P for an introduction at 8:45 and then the challenge itself will follow on the same thread at 9am sharp.
The game closes at 7pm Sunday when the results will be posted and the setter for October will be declared.

In the meantime, you are welcome to use this thread (affectionately known as 'The Shrubbery') for scheming or socialising.
