humax freeview machine

hi could anyone with a humax freeview machine (dont have a model number but only just bought) please explain how you record a series .instructions say a pop up appears but all i see is a little book or pages if the programme is a series but nowhere to choose to record as a series do not see any pop up to respond to,hope that all make sense ,thanks for any help

The model number should be on the box, on the device you've bought (probably on the back) and on the front cover of the instruction manual which you're referring to!
It really would help us to know which model you've got but, if it's a HDR-FOX T2 (which is currently on sale and offers Freeview series recording) then all you should need to do is to go the TV guide, highlight the programme you want, press OK and then select the option to record the series.

I have been very disappointed with my Humax Fox T2.
It is horrible to use and I had to mess about with USB sticks to get software on to it to make the Smart TV part to work (just about). The UI and software are shockingly bad. I thought I would get used to it, but I've had it a year now and it still annoys me.
