Hi Guys and Dolls - just updating re the above. Today (Sun) - the intense pain and fieriness is going down so will give this a few more days to heal before contact with the doctor. Having said that what was it??? Thanks for your kind postings.

Blockage of a duct....build up of secretions giving you the swelling and pain and this has now been absorbed........probably hormonal......probably menstrual and will probably happen again.

If I do get it again I will not panic. Like the vertigo/menieres - first time it frightened me - next time will know menieres gap breast pain what it is all about. TIA Sqad.
