Capturing streaming media.

I want to save a piece of streaming media from the www: it is as a .asf file from a mms:// source. Any ideas?

It's fiddly, and in some cases simply cannot be done, but if you post the link, I'll give it a try...

Thanks for the replies, smorodina that HiNet Recorder worked a treat I am very grateful for the link. lisaj, the media stream came from mms://63.198.123.138/ I won't say the rest as it is more embarrassing than porn! Cheers!
