I know the answer to my question is probably in the 'help' pages of excel but I have been unable to find it.

I have a list of figures in vertical column and want to move the figures to a horizontal row.

Is there a quick way of doing this?

It is actually for a friend - but I want to know too.

Thanks

excel - did you put on your superhero costume and start to fly to my assistance?

Hope you had a good day at this 'work' thing. I tried it for 24 years and 33 days and then they discovered that I was nuts and pensioned me off. (You gotta love Civil Service final pay pensions). ;-) xx

I have sent the solutions to my problem on to my friend and he can try it out. Thanks
Select the entire vertical set of figures.

Click the first (left-most) cell where you want to paste them.

Paste values, with transpose (press these keys one at a time: Alt E S V E Enter)

Viola!
