I do remember a few years ago, when the Jersey Childrens Home was under investigation and Jimmy Saville's name was mentioned then, which I thought was strange, and nobody seemed to pick on it - or did they and it was hushed up {:o/

Pasta is right, things like that weren't talked about in those days but I knew I could speak to my parents if anything untoward happened to me or my sister, I was aware that sort of thing went on. In the 50's and 60's I was a teenager, I was forbidden to go into Leeds to the Mecca dancing, that was where JS was DJ. It was a very popular place, I only sneaked there one afternoon with a date.
