In April I bought a pc from HP through Quidco which offers paybacks in 3-5 days. I still haven't received the payback, about £70. First they told me I would have to wait about 5 months because of them waiting for HP paying them. When they did receive the money (I reckon because I kept contacting them) they told me someone had been into my account so I would have to wait another 10 days for payment (the someone was me checking after logging in). I gave them my paypal details, but now they say as it is more than £25 they need my bank details through BACS instead !! I suggested splitting the payments monthly, but they said they cannot do that. Does anyone know if they are safe - I'm not happy with what is going on. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has given them their banking details.

Yes. I get regular cashback from Quidco paid direct to my bank account. I've used them for years. They can pay money into your bank account but can't take money from your bank account
I have used Quidco with mixed results for some time, but I would say yes - you can trust them.

You are only giving them the details that are printed on a cheque, after all.
I echo what factor 30 says.
Quidco never pay cashback that quickly. Due to the way the cashback system works it takes time to Quidco to 'talk' to the company you have purchased from to verify the claim. On Quidcos website under the HP stats it clearly states that cashback payment speed is less than five months from tracking.
The only way I know that Quidco pays very quickly is by doing a 'check in' using their mobile app. They are tracked instantly and are paid in the next monthly payment.
Yes, Quidco and other firms such as TopCashback do have to chase up some merchants who are slow payers- some delay payment by up to a year

Thanks for all the replies. I had checked on the internet by entering "problems with quidco" and found quite a lot of negative input. My worry was giving them all my info, but if I want the cashback it seems I'll have to do it. Thanks everyone.
The negative feedback is probably about slow payment but most cashback sites have that problem. There is absolutely no risk involved in giving Quidco you account details- after all these details appear on any cheque you write. They are no less trustworthy than Paypal
