mobile phone will not charge
1 Answers
I have an Orange San Francisco / ZTE Blade
Firstly the charger you plug in the wall wouldnt charge the phone.
Then I couldnt charge by USB device either.
For a while I could use the phone whilst it was plugged in to a power source.
But now the phone is going through a cycle of switching on, booting up, then switching straight back off again.
I've tried 3 different batteries (admittedly 2nd hand) but the same problem occurrs with each, so I dont think its a battery problem.
Is it time for a new phone? Im not on a contract, I own the phone outright.

Mrs Hymie’s phone suffered this fault – with my electrical know-how, I have rigged up a charger that makes direct electrical contact with the battery pack terminals. On the plus side she has a spare battery to keep one charged but it is a pain to lash-up the required connections to the battery pack.
