insurance claim
Bank holiday Saturday my car hit a pot hole in Morrisons, to cut a long story short they admitted liability and told me to get the repairs done, my wheel was chipped ,my tyre ripped, and the tracking needed checking as well, the cost of the repair would have been £600, but because I thought it was a bit extortionate I bought a reburbished wheel out of my own pocket (£50) so this reduced the claim to £189, I have tried and tried to get the monies reimbursed directly through B A C S, yesterday the claims manager promised me faithfully that it would be in my account today 02/10/12 but is it no, I have phoned today and was put through to the claims dept the phone rang and i held for at least 15 minutes, who can i go to to resolve this .

One day to seems a very short time to process even a BACS payment. I would leave it for a few days, then try to contact the person who agreed settlement.
If you hear nothing then a stiff letter to the Head Office of whichever Company have agreed the settlement.

As above who,are you talking to ?
Morrison's will pass this to their insurers who have to deal with it.
Morrison's will not pay direct to you. You have shot your self in the foot here , morrisons agreed to pay the insurance cost of £600 but you have gone and done the repair your self by getting another wheel , this invalidates the claim .
You should have collected the £600 and only then got the wheel for £50 , you would have been £411 better off but you have blown it.
Hope you have not told your own insurance about this as if you have they will now give you a loading for having a 'claims history' and your insurance for the next 5 years will be double or even triple .
