i feel i have a new job, which i will love to do. I also feel a little down with recent events leading up to this job ie childcare/hours etc. Is it normal to feel so low. Bear in mind it is the time of the month, that may be why i am feeling like i am. On friday, i was at work, and as i have been told to withdraw from certain jobs, due to me leaving, my junior thought she could tell me what to do? I told her i still in the post and havent left yet, and do not like her dictating to me how and what to do?? i blew a fuse basically. Did i do wrong?
not at all.. you are still paid to do a job..if you were my employee i would expect you to the job, with all the responsibilities that it entailed until the day you left..you put the junior in her place and rightly so..
No, you're not wrong. You've been on a bit of a rollercoaster too, to get to the job you want so much - only natural that you might feel a bit flat (especially at time of the month). Don't let the junior get ideas above her station, you're still in post until you finish!
