I suspect that a lot of people on here are retired or semi-retired.
I am now semi retired and the best thing about it for me is not having to get up, have a shower and wash my hair, dry my hair, put my make-up on, get smartly dressed, run the hoover round, sort the dogs out, put something in the slow cooker, fly out of the door.......................well not on Monday and Friday that is.
What's the best thing about retirement for you?

I still do jobs for people to help keep the wolf from the the door but I can pick and choose which jobs I do and when.

Why do pensioners always fill up the bus that goes to town for the school run, or getting to work on time. They do have all day, but they've got to be in for when the post office opens out of habit. Dont they get it via bank transfer these days. Gah, it winds me up. Then I have to stand up when ive actually paid £4 quid to go to work ..... with more old people
