Panic over. Thanks bibblebub for the info. Hopefully all FF users have now received an automatic up-date of 16 , as I have to 16.0.1

I was never offered FF16, tonight was the first offer of 16.0.1.

I downloaded FF16 as soon as it became available; I didn't wait for any automatic update. It's my guess that Mozilla became aware of the fault before it was fully released and then stuck a patch on it.

Haven't been offered an update and PC on all day!

puternut....It could be that your Browser has not been programmed for up-dates and you are still operating on a very old edition of Firefox.

You can check what you are using by clicking open Firefox 'Help' and then 'About Firefox' which will reveal a page to indicate the position from which you can then up-date.
