Someone came on recommending them last week (was it weecalf)?
I sent for details but they said my house wasn't eligible due to shading issues.
I recall there being an issue with 'free' installation s like this but I can't remember now what the issue is.

If you are at home all day or can put your dishwasher/washing machine etc on a timer you will not get a massive benefit.
The panels don't store the electricity so the electricity you use on bright days when you are producing energy will be free and the excess is fed back into the grid and the owner of the panels gets the payment for that.
I'm not saying it's not worth it but don't expect a dramatic change in your bill.
