Kindle touch

I bought a kindle last week and ran through the set up and connected it to the computer via wi-fi. I downloaded a couple of books and all went well. When i switched it on the next day it was not connected. I cannot get it to re connect. My Belkin54g wi-fi did not come with a password and I have never added one. I don't understand how I got connected in the first place with no problem. the kindle says the security type I have entered does not match the security type of the wi-fi network. Can anyone help?

The sensible thing to do would be to configure your router with a password and then configure your Kindle to match.
