Good Morning Crossword Genii! I am stuck on the last 3 solutions to finish Saturday's Telegraph Crossword. Please can you experts help to put me out of my misery. Here goes.... 4d (5 letters) "Island where boat crew changes direction at the start" I have W?G?? and assume it must be 'WIGHT' but Why? Next, 11a (2 words 4-6) "Athlete has try to join club" I have
S?O?/P???E?. Finally, 21a (4 letters) "German song was deceptive" I have L?E? and guess it must be 'LIES'.....Why? Thank you in advance to All! Have a good Sunday.
