where to get teaching materials to help kids

aged 8 and 5 at home. I think they both need extra time on reading and writing, and also maths. Just need to know where i can buy the literature from? thanks in advance.

Phleb, just google it. There are loads of sites that you either print stuff off or they can use interactively. If you are really concerned about their progress, talk to their school.

Well, the library is full of books to read, suitable for all ages. Try it.

As for writing, you could just try getting them to write notes about things - maybe one sentence each day about something they did. Also, get them writing shopping lists before going to the shops. Things like that help.

There loads of maths books for all ages. Even some of the pound shops have them.

What factor30 recommended, except it's Bitesize, not Bitewise!
