I've been waiting for comments from the more erudite ABers than myself and I'm surprised there are none about last night's show.

Very well done, in very difficult circumstances, I thought, but one 'joke' from the host in particular was in breathtakingly poor taste, I thought.

I don't blame Claire Balding, I know she is just reading a script, but I think I would have refused to.

sorry, China, I meant the Abu 'joke', which is what I thought hc was referring to. I haven't got around to watching the whole show.

No presenter anywhere has to read out scripts if they don't want to.

Aaahh, yeah, hc was, I just got diverted. It's worth watch actually. Not the funniest show but then given some of the material, hardly suprising really.
