What's your opinion of tattooed police offices?

Do you view policemen with visible tattoos differently?

Dont subscribe to the 'Hard Sticker' myself. On coppers, dont really care but agree should not really be on neck or face for instance being arrested by a plod with a spiders web across his face might be a bit odd.

The problem is, tats are still seen as threatening by many, I'd certainly smile if I saw one with ACAB though Baldric!

I am not a fan of them myself. Those on hands, face, neck look very unprofessional.

i have never seen a policeman with tattoos however you rarely see them round our way. Besides they wear a uniform, and unless one is tattooed on his or her forehead with the word policeman/woman then i can't really comment.

i dont understand why this bothers people so much, how is a tattoo going to stop people doing there job properly? Although if it was offensive then it needs to be covered up.
People have there own opinions on tattoos some love them some hate them but it shouldnt stop them from being aloud to work in a profession they would put there heart and soul into

wouldn't worry me. One of the nicest gentlest bravest men I knew at work (ex fireman) had "love" and "hate" tattooed across his knuckles. I do think though that brides in beautiful ladylike dresses that show their tattoos look.....anomalous. I would either choose a dress that went better with the tatts or use cover makeup for that day.
I would never ever consider getting inked myself.

I haven't got one and I wouldn't personally deface myself with one, but each to their own. I've never seen a tattooed policeman.

I actually can't imagine caring whether they have a tattoo or not. There are a lot more qualities I'd be concerned about them having that would be more useful in the job they do.
