I have been shoving my emptied plastic bags (from Co-op,Tescos, Asda etc.) to the right hand side of my undersink cupboard for many years. There must be thousands in there and they keep going in with no resistance. I have lost a tool-box, an Iron and a shoe-polishing kit recently and so will clean the bloody cupboard out on Sunday ? Do you have a bag for life or are you similarly plagued with the one-offs ?

hc43 etc. I like your style !
I use all my plastic supermarket bags when I take my two dogs for walkies, very handy they are too.
thenry, you'd hate to be behind me at the checkout. I unwrap all pre wrapped veg; put eggs in to my own egg tub and leave as much unnecessary packaging behind as I can, whilst making free with the carrier bags.
packaging has got ridiculous, I can't open anything.
I have 3 or 4 shopping bags which I take with me when I go shopping. Its just habit and I never forget them.

If I do any impluse shopping I have a couple of cloth bags in the car and I also have a foldup bag in my handbag. If all else fails I'd rather carry the shopping loose than take a carrier bag, I hate the things.

I must admit I do dig em out when I take the hound for a walk !
thenry, do you tie the empty bags to the dog lead so that you can show how good at poopa scooping you are going to be?

Sorry, that is a bad joke but I have seenpeople either totally ignore their doggy's doings, or even worse bag it and hang it on a fence/hedge/tree. And no, they haven't collected it on their way back
I order my shopping from the Asda Home delivery service. They collecy the bags for recycling...even the bags from other supermarkets
hc I dont do that I pick it up and take with me, once my mutt went thrice on one walk,I only had two bags so I went back in the car for the rest, dog owners should be responsible for the dog's actions. I had a young kid say to me once "leave it for the council to clear up my mum does" !
sorrry folks not a nice conversation but someone has to do it !
