good afternoon folks.
were any of you interested in the electric light orchestra?
my tastes have always been easy listening and motion picture soundtracks however, there was something about ELO that i found very entertaining - and i grew to love all their material.
there is a clutch of programmes about jeff lynne and ELO on bbc4 next friday night ... i have set my machine to record them.

The Orchestra are still alive and well and touring. We go to see them every year and they sound just as great as ever, even without Jeff and Kelly. Mik Kaminski and Louis Clark still there from the old days, Eric Troyer's been with them since ELO 2, the rest all oustanding musicians too. Check out The Orchestra's website for details.
Great track, Hopkirk. I used to buy everything- albums, singles, US import singles- but after the Discovery album I I too got a little tired of them and lost the urge to buy everything, although I did continue to enjoy hearing their singles on the radio in the 80s and I liked the Travelling Wilberries.
