I used to think there were a lot of people on AB who were illiterate & unable to spell until I discovered that in fact it is mainly a fault of AB itself which it would appear cannot be corrected. I am constantly getting typing errors when communicating with AB which do not happen anywhere else on my computer, I always have to go over everything I type & correct & put in missing letters before I click Submit. It realy dosen't matter which browser I use ( I've tried them all). I have mentioned this before both in Technology & Editor's Blog to no avail.

I have noticed that too Ron, I thought it was just my clumsy typing but thinking about it - I contribute to loads of articles and prepare newsletters and it never often happens on those.
Aber named methyl has given some very technical reasons for this on other threads, I don't understand the half of it, hope it is sorted for you soon.

All my typos are either intentional or not looking up before submitting.
It's nevver hapened to me.
Blame flaffy...
yep, I have noticed it Whiskeyron - I type and then a few seconds later the letters are printed but not always what I have typed.
ditto Towie- thought it was me.
Here's proof that spelling doesn't really matter.

I have never noticed this.
Yes, I have noticed this, particularly in the last couple of weeks. The letters stick, I have to go back and fill them in. It doesn't happen with any other applications.
The Answerbank server has probably been re-sited - to the Louisiana swamp.....a combination of heat and moisture making everything sticky.
OH even tipped the crumbs out of the keyboard the other day, he was blaming me :-(
And here's me blaming my iPad ;)
Have you seen the price of those pressurised air cans for cleaning keyboards in say a Staples or Curry's - over £7 for a can. A blast from the air-nozzle at a petrol station should be able to do the same thing. Anybody done this?
