Just received an e-mail from e-bay saying "You fell into arrears..." Strange since I've never had any dealings with e-bay!

Scams by peope pretending to be ebay are common .If you get one you can check it by forwarding it to ' [email protected]' you will get a reply telling you if it is real or scam.

I get them endlessly from several banks that I've not held accounts with saying that I have probs

Same here Petal, in the last 2 month i've had threatening emails form Santander, Halifax and RBS, i've never had accounts with any of them. DELETE
