Bletchley Park

I have just started a book on Bletchley Park during the war. It states that there were 9 to 10 thousand people working there.

Where did they all sleep and eat as I have the impression that the town of Bletchley was a small one?

They were spread over a wide area as well as on site

I am sure they ran quite a few bus services to get people to work

Not sure how Xstitcher, but where there's a will etc.
Maybe a post in hobbies and see who turns up, we could always set up round Robin or something, though my piece might be a tad late owing to my arthritis and it takes me longer to get a piece completed these days

Again I'm late with answers - sorry. You can find hobbies and so forth on the Society thread as Vulcan posted yesterday. Am going to be out most of today so I can't post anything over there at present but at some point later I post something.
Oh, I downloaded the Bletchley Park book onto my kindle last night, and as soon as I finish the book I am currently reading I'll be right on it will let you know how I get on
