I have now got the date for my Vitrioectomy op. Oct.25th (nx Thursday)
I will be admitted on Wednesday evening at 7pm. And will be put on an Insulin pump overnight to control my Diabetes before the op. 8.30am op.

Takes about 1 hour. I am having extensive Laser treatment to cauterise the veins at the back of the eye which are bleeding into my vision.
Will stay in overnight again and hopefully go home Friday morning 26th.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Hi Jem, best wishes I'm sure you are in capable hands.

I remember a nurse giving me a 'shave' before my op years ago, she looked up and said 'I remember you'. I often wonder how distinctive I am.

Me and Queenofmean would like to add our best wishes for you on Thursday. You were so kind and helpful when she was undergoing the laser treatment on her eyes and we can only wish that your treatment will prove to be as successful as hers.

Awww! (sniff) You all have been soo kind with your good wishes for which I thank you for.If all goes well I'll be able to see you all a lot better without the visual aids.
I'm looking forward to seeing my grandaughters who have been just a blurr.
