Fungus in Potted Lavender and Holly
I have just noticed mushrooms growning in my pots of Lavender and Holly - should I leave them or what shall I do

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.the mushrooms are the fruiting body, the actual mushroom "plant" is in the soil. The arrival of them in your pot indicates that the soil is hospitable which to me indicates wet soil and likely poor drainage. Your holly may stand it bit the lavender needs good drainage and I would be having at least the lavender out of the pot and sorting the drainage repotting with added grit. check the drainage in the holly and keep an eye on it, if in doubt repot.
