Rise in my pension this week

My friend turns 80 at the weekend. He understands he gets a raise in his pension of 25p a week!!

Any suggestion what to spend it on?

Pretty sick joke in this day and age isn't it.

I wonder how much it was worth at the time it was first issued.

what should he do with it? If it's such a travesty/shambles/slap in the face as everyone is suggesting, perhaps all the pensioners could send their extra 25p to me? I wouldn't be insulted

Save it up over the year and buy a bottle of whisky with it - it works out at £13 a year.
