What's the music used in the advert when the Renault car is "unbuilt" and "undesigned"? The advert also features Jean-Paul Gaultier. The track is a weird wailing that sounds like its being played backwards.
I don't think the car is Renault, it's the Citroen or Peugeot 'Picasso', but if it's the advert where the robots are painting a car, I think the music is Aphex Twin, 'Windowlicker'.
From the XL recordings website:...the music accompanying the Jean-Paul Gautier Renault advert was in fact produced by Etienne De Crecy. Unfortunately it's not as yet commercially available...
I've got this track and it's called, officially, "Simpathique" by Pink Martini. You can find it in the "Hotel Costes" compilation CD, sort of chill out music.
Hi the advert i asked the original question about is definitely NOT the picasso advert with the robot arms painting weird designs on the car.
As i originilly said it is a renault advert where the cars is being "unbuilt" and eventauly ends up back on the deigners bluebrints accompaniend to some backward sounding music
I have had a listen to the pink martini song and it is not the one off the renault ad (though it is the one off the picasso ad)
Unfortunatley this ad no longer seems to get shown on british TV. As you can see my original post was a number of years ago now
Open the link. And then go to the address bar and where it says Question1000 change the 1000 to whatever number you want. I think it fails though if you choose a number for which the question was deleted. The first 100 or so are all written by ATOB which I assume was an AB tester
