Yep, all motor sport is expensive, Den.
I'd be very unhappy too Towie. No amount of protective clothing and advanced training can help with other bad drivers.

though the lad in question, Tone, now has sponsorship and has just tested a Formula 1 racing car - watch this space - up and coming FM1 champion.
Yeah Den, you have to be very good to get to that stage. I'll keep me eye out.
ooh Den, if it's the lad in question who was on TV a couple of weeks ago, I wish him all success and fortune (if it wasn't then I wish the same for your son's pal)
Prudie - training can help. OK it's never going to protect you from the most serious idiot, but motorbike training is SO different to driving lessons in a car. As I say, my mate has been a biker for 40 years and only had one minor accident. It's all about risk reduction.

If we all stopped doing things that had a risk attached, none of us would ever do anything.

he has been on TV, Alba was interviewed by the BBC.
I know how you feel, went thru all that too luckily he soon progressed to four wheels.
In your son's defence he does have a point the traffic on the A13 in the mornings is horrendous and the bikes do get thru fairly easily and returning home same route on a Friday after 3pm must be a nightmare for everyone.
Question Author
Hello Dee - he already drives a Mercedes, so has been on four wheels for a few years now - just don't feel happy about a motorbike.
How old is your son?
