Let down By NHS again

I have worked all my life , well for the last 31 years anyway and paid TAX and NI.
Been paying TAX at 40% since 1990.
At work they have a Flu jab day and I always attend and get my jab (company paid for). However I had see doctor today and thus worked from home and missed flu jab session.
So called doctors and asked if I could get flu jab done during visit.
Got asked if I was in a "At risk group", said No.
But willing to pay for jab ...nope sorry ...
Was told to go to Boots.
Well thanks for nowt !!!!
So had to drive 9 miles to Boots park car and get Jab (£13) then frive home and go to docs surgery for appointment.
Never ask the NHS for anything , for years and years and first time I need a service and they refuse !!!
Sure If I was from a third world country and turned up at Heathrow with a medical condition , they would roll out the Red carpet for me.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
