14d The answer is obvious, but does anyone follow "half set on a stool, we hear" or the correponding letters in the solution (which I can't reveal, as it would be a key to the theme!) ?

Butterc sounds like buttock (half of bottom) + up (on a stool).

It is Buttercup, maybe half of buttock or the stool cups your butt

Very original, thank you, but I'm not quite convinced:"butt" alone of course = "bottom", but...??????????????????
