As you are a newby here and quite clued up on Psychosomatic disorders, I will lay my psychiatric cards on the table.

I hated psychiatry as a med student and it didn't improve on qualification.......my undergraduate experience was almost totally with "knocking off" a psychiatric nurse from a hospital down the Mile End Road.

That basically says it all.
