Hi Lofty - I too, suffer with fibromyalgia - have done for the past 12 years. It is painful and as you say it is still a mystery illness - in fact a lot of doctors don't recognise it. There is nothing one can do except painkillers when you have a flare-up. By the way my body has seen some terrible incidents so I think they have triggered this complaint off. Bad grammar!!

Thank you Conn. I think I have been suffering from it for years, but it's only been picked up properly recently. I think mental or physical traumas can trigger it, and also create flare ups. It's really got to me this time. x
