I am disabled and can no longer look after my large front garden which is filled with bushes and plants in the borders and with old multi coloured gravel in the centre. I have decided to remove all the plants and widen the driveway on one side, with paving and fill the rest in with gravel. Looking around the area where I live , I see a wide variety of gravels and slate and different colours. I like the look of white gravel but will it weather well or soon look dirty ? Red gravel is another option and slate also looks nice. I should be grateful for any advice that you can give me.

less weed germination in really thick coat of slate but what ever you chose make sure it as on a proper membrane and nice and deep White gravel goes green and mouldy other options are the coloured glass 'gravels' and the fine rubber 'bead; mixes which can be packed down
