Birdies and weedkiller!!

Hi everyone, does anyone know, if, when you use weedkilller in a garden, thats safe for children and animals to walk on etc after 2 hours or when its dry, would the birdies get poisened if they picked up any seed thats on the floor in the same area that the weedkiller's been sprayed..?? I cant find this information anywhere!... I'd hate to think I'd poisened any birdies.. we love to feed them especially now the winter seems to be creeping up!!Ta everso! Mrs C

Think it totally depends on the weedkiller you use. Mine actually says on it that its safe for pets etc.

Hi Smowball .. thats what is says on mine too... maybe I'll refrain from spraying in that area though just incase! thanks for your response! x
Am pretty sure it wont harm birds
Any Glyphosate based weedkiller such as Roundup is totally safe with animals and wildlife. I even use it in my pond to kill invasive bullrushes.
