1992 Astra Spec

I am keen on buying a 1992 1.4i Astra Mk4, but wondering whether or not it is likely to have power steering, electric windows, electric mirrors etc? also what is the top speed anyone has had out of one, standard?

Why don't you just ask the vendor? I had an E-reg Astra (not sure what year that was but was 2 models ago) and it did not have any of these items - it didn't even have a cassette player. If power steering is vital I would chcek carefully as Astras were quite heavy at this stage. They were fairly well built then from what I recall - simple and robust. I also later had an M reg Astra (the previous to the current style) , the special Hi-torq model (low speed and cheap ins) which I could get near to 100mph out of, but 0-60 was over 14 secs. It was an LS but by ten they were well specced with airbag, electric front windows, r/c, PAS and central locking.
