One of my neighbours from a few years back to a a girl out on a first date to a churchyard in Canewdon [renowned for witches]. Where did you go on your first date? The weirder the better.

An airport?

I met my OH in a bar, on a skiing holiday in Italy. I mean, we didn't hitch up on holiday, or anything. I'm not a slapper. We just kept bumping into each other in bars in the village. We chatted a lot. I was usually trolleyed. We swapped numbers. When we got home, we did a bit of "hey, remember me?" sort of texting. Then I flew over to visit him. And shagged his pants off. As you do.

So our first per-arranged encounter (= date?) was at Geneva Airport.
