i had a bath in the week for the 1st time in ages.
Was looking forward to a good soak and relax and unwind.
But I once again found it very boring and couldnt wait to get out of there.

i love my showers and could shower every day.
You prefer a good ole soak? x

I like a bath but with the arthritis I find it harder to get in and out, tend to stay til the water gets cool. I shower more often than not, quicker because I wash my hair at the same time.
Definitely a shower girl, won't leave the house without one and will happily shower more than once a day, nothing like feeling lovely and fresh and clean. I find it more hygienic than a bath.

I have started having the odd bath more recently for achy arthritis crap. It does help but I can't stay in for long, I get too hot though it's nice for more of a cosy warm evening feeling, and do a facemask and deep hair conditioner and such, than a nice fresh clean shower in the morning. It does make shaving my legs easier now though than trying to bend in the shower...oh the joys...
Triggs, had a giggle at the thought of your shower routine.

After reading all your replies, I've decided --me thinks i'll shower EVERY day.
I do enjoy enjoy a strip wash , but hey, shower is loads quicker.
I've enjoyed reading all your interesting replies abers x
My shower is a bit rubbish as it doesn't have much pressure and I LOVE the one my parents have, a proper proper shower. I could stay under it for ages...I think my parents limit the hot water in anticipation now... :)
...proper power shower even!
I haven't had a bath in over 3 years!!! I used to have a bath in my gorgeous huge enormous bath at my house in Bury with my book and a glass of wine and candles. Although it was a one off.

I never have time to just sit and indulge now. So it's showers all the way.
I always shower, I can get in the bath but getting out is another matter.
You could try using a shower cap pusskins. I bought 3 basic clear plastic ones in Boots for £1. They're just the job for a daily shower.

We do not have a bath and when I go to a hotel or to stay with a relative who does have a bath, I still stand in it and use the shower attachment! And its beyond me how I ever used to wash my hair in the bath. What a complete kerfuffle.
I have no alternative. If I got in the bath, which would be difficult, I would not be able to get back out again. So it's a shower for me every day. In my new bungalow (new to me, not really new) which will be ready for me at last in two weeks I have had the bath removed and a wet room (only a smallish one) put in its place.

I have shower caps too, out of Boots, and they are a god send.
I have never washed my hair in the bath, always after I've bathed or in the shower. hey, I'm going to jump in the shower in a mo, and wallow in it. haha.
I also use a mat in the bath as i dont fancy another fall flat on back.
i only have a bath .. which i use every day.

when i'm away from home, i love using a shower.
I love a soak. I usually have something to read or a puzzle book when I'm having a soak. My feet are always cold in the winter and a soak warms them up before I go to bed otherwise the're like blocks of ice.
