I have 2 pairs of MBT shoes, one pair of trainer style, and a pair for work. I have had the first pair for 2 and half years, very comfortable and wear them most days. When my work shoes needed changing I decided to get a pair to wear at work and have not regretted it. Very comfortable to wear, my feet never feel tired or 'throbbing' at the end of a busy day as they did with ordinary shoes. The shoes encourage you to stand up straight and walk tall, as opposed to leaning forward when walking in ordinary shoes (me anyway). Slight problem with standing still, if you are looking skywards for the ISS, or if you have treated yourself to a very nice G+Tand just stargazing
i´d be very careful, might need more than just a few recommendations. i bought a smashing pair i thought about 2 yrs ago. they were fine for short walks, then when i had to move to a new town, i had to walk more than before. in fact on average about 6 miles every day. well sadly i had to bin the mbt´s within a short time, as they almost crippled my ankles. you see mbt´s are designed to force you to walk a certain way. but i felt they were forcing my ankles to move more than was comfortable.
