Advice re Probate
My mother died recently and I have found a copy of her will in which she names me and my two sisters as executors and beneficiaries. Her estate comprises of three bank accounts, no property involved as we have already had to sell that to meet care home fees.
Am I right in assuming that if I obtain the original will from the solicitor and submit the forms ,from the Gov.uk website, I can obtain probate without resorting to using a solicitor.
Are there any problems I could encounter.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I an always a bit wary of saying "probate is not (or may not be needed) as the enquirer might interpret this as being able to go ahead and distribute the estate without doing the admin that is needed.
.....not in this case of course as you posted the link but I do think that its needlessly confusing to call the process "probate" if the estate exceeds a certain amount and something else if the amount is lower.
