16 Answers
It was excellent. I took bloods on the first day, and was'nt fazed by it at all. I am so confident now. Only problem is i dont know which bottles to use, so i have to keep asking:-/, but the colleagues are wonderful, and they are very supportive and reassuring. I start ward rounds next week, and i am fully equiped for this, mentally and physically. thank you everyone on answerbank that have been there for me. thanks to your kind words, i had the confidence to go ahead and do it.....i am so happy now.x

I have lots of experience of you guys, being type 1 diabetic I'm at the clinic several times a year letting you get a sample of my claret. I'm always apprehensive when there is someone new taking the sample because the old dear who normally does it and has done it for years is so good. But she has the newbies trained up so well I needn't worry about a thing.
Hi, phelb. Glad to know you're forging ahead in this. They should have taught you in the course what types of vacutainers to use for the many various blood tests. I am assuming that you are using BD vacutainers. This site might help you. Continue to enjoy your job.
