Why do candles in glasses always burn down the middle of the wax and then get to a point where you can't light it any more?
You then have left a crater or unused wax up the sides.

I keep buying them and then curse myself for wasting money. Is thete a trick to stop it happening?

Dyptique candles available from their shop in Rue St. Germain in the Sorbonne, near the Pantheon Paris or from Space NK are top of the range candles with some very interesting and unusual perfumes. If you are in are in Paris look in.

I've just bought some candles from Waitrose as Christmas presents - they smell lovely in the jars.
