You can't strip a dead man of a knighthood but the media *have* stopped referring to him as Sir Jim.
Don't really think it matters much now, does it. Nobody is going to refer to him as 'Sir Jim'.
you cant strip a person whos dead of his knighthood .the law has to change for that
well the law should be changed then, its a disgrace that he still holds a title.
But what does it matter, in the grand scheme of things. No one is going to call him 'Sir', anymore.
Very true Bluestone.
Most people will now refer to him by the last four letters of his surname.
Oh, absolutely, Daftgrandad!
Did I hear right that it has surfaced today, Saville was questioned in relation to the Yorkshire Ripper case??
Oh jeez! They'll be blaming him for the Twin Towers next...
All I've heard is Peter Sutcliffe has said that Jimmy Savile is innocent.
Jd, yep. I read that too!

SB, now you're just being silly. That was Freddie Star... :P

Apparently so
Not much will surprise me about this Vile ... ****
Lol. Ummmm, seriously?
Surely Savile only came into contact with him through Broadmoor.
Bloody hell.

Evil, satanic bastards!
Yes he should be posthumously and publicly stripped of his knighthood. I do not feel that any of it is alleged anymore. I only wish he was here to answer the charges, feel the guilt and be shamed, and NOT to control the press, BBC etc as he did before (allegedly!)

(Maybe a public hanging is going too far!)
To be honest most men were questioned in West Yorkshire during the Ripper era
