Im hoping somebody can shed some light on this for me.
I want to sign up to very.co.uk in order to pay for something for £400. I want to use the pay nothing for 12 months option but pay back so much each month until the balance clears, obviously before the 12 months are up.
I was in the process of registering just now and it was saying a had a credit blanance of £3000. I had to sign a contract accepting this. ( I haven't actually signed up yet)
Does everybody get a balance like that when they register? What happens if you just want to register and pay with debit card/ straight from bank for something. Is the credit blance there just in case?
The credit balance is how much you can spend and owe them at a time.
It says on the website that you can pay by card, direct debit or on credit with them.
If you opt for the credit, you can buy the goods eg. clothes, then if they don't fit, send them back, your account gets adjusted. If you pay by card, you have to wait to get your mney refunded.
