Started to fill in a form from Virgin Media on line and one of the questions wanted me to put in an address for an email @ virginmedia etc. Well, I already have an email address which I like at blueyonder etc. If I fill in a new one for virginmedia does that mean my other one will disappear? Or will I then have two email addresses of which I could use either or both? Hope this makes sense.

I joined virgin after they took over ntl. my email address is still ntl and have never had to change to a virgin one, If you type virgin email into google you will be directed to a page that asks for your email ending.

Virgin Media website says you can "Access all of your email accounts through your Virgin Media mailbox - even those from other providers".

Thanks heathfield - I didn't want to change my current one because all my contacts already have it and I would have to remember to tell everyone. So I can keep it and access it via the new one. I think I understand now. As perhaps you can see, I am not very good at understanding what happens, although I like to use it.
is virgin going to be your new internet provider, or are you going to keep playing blue yonder too? If you are finishing your contract with blue yonder, you cannot keep that email address
Blueyonder IS Virgin. It used to be Telewest until Virgin bought it out.
Yes you will keep your blueyonder email address if you also create a virginmedia email address.
