MrAsk has, or would have had won quite a bit with his armchair betting lately, funny how they always win when you watch on TV. Mind you you save a bit of money that way. Been very cold here today, I have a bit of a cough at the mo so not been out for a couple of days. hope you and mrs stokey are OK.
You're right stokey, but we still fall for it and we always remember the big wins and conveniently forget all the bad days. The first time I took Trish to the races was with a pub trip to Cheltenham in '88 to the Mackeson Gold Cup when Scudie won on Pegwell Bay it was the best day I've ever had at the races and I won enough to buy a pairs of Ziess 10x50 bins, take Trish to Paris for a long week end and still bank some. Since then it's nearly all been down hill, every time we go we KNOW it's going to be the day.
