it is. I meant do you have it on your screen with black on each side? seems rather a shame to leave two-thirds of your screen black (unless you're Daffy). I'd go for a landscape picture myself.

ah, i understand now, I dont have a wide angle lens so couldn't get all the sky in, it was black to the right due to a rather large thunder storm approaching and blue skies to the left and what you are seeing is the sunset as it was taken early evening, hope this makes sense now.
