For some reason I tried to take my Russian wedding ring off and it will only move about 2mm (think its because my living room is so flipping hot). Now I have got my knickers in a twist that my finger is going to magically expand overnight - any tips for getting the damned thing off?

Good luck sherrardk, I managed to get 2 wedding rings off quite easily.

Eventually got the stupid thing off, it wasn't so much a case of my finger had swollen as I couldn't get the ring over the joint in my finger.
