I have a thing called Winpatrol installed on my machine. Ever since I opened a picture from Google Images this morning, it has been telling me that something called wxlsjynn.exe wants to be in my startup menu. I've tried Googling it to no avail and seem unable to delete it from my startup menu.

I've run a full Malwarebytes scan and have McAfee installed as part of the BT Broadband service.

I'm on Windows XP.

TIA

Thanks Methyl. Will do just that.

Cheers
Turn off system restore before you remove the nasties with malware bytes, as some will reinstall themselves from system restore. Only once the computer is clean after a scan after a restart, then turn back on system restore.
