The sooner it comes, the quicker it goes. As a child, it was quite wondrously magical; however, as an adult it's quite lackluster: buy, buy, buy, give me, give me, give me, and enforced joviality 'cause 'tis the season to be jolly with people you don't see for most of the year. The sock filled with goodies was quite jolly:)
