email pictures not being received

when forwarding emails that contain pictures only the text is received but no pictures ..attachments that are forwarded are received. any suggestions would be welcome

Are the original picture files that your e-mail links to, on your local PC, from where the e-mail recipient's PC can not download data ?

Are you using an online mail client?

pics arrive from friends ..that i then want to forward on but only text is received

You might have to save them to your own computer then reattach them?

or to clarify.. I get the pics on my computer when they are emailed to me but when i try to forward them on the recipient ony gets text with blank boxes and red crosses where the pics should be

well yes that is a possibility but a pain

Well the solution was quite simply in the end.. messages with pics require being sent in "rich text" so changing from plain text to rich text sorted the problem
